Demon Hair Mask, Balinese Art

Handcarved from pule wood and enhanced with tribal motifs is an enigmatic theater mask depicting a demon.  Traditionally used in ceremonies, dances and dramas, this piece is truly a collectors item and is sure to be a great conversation piece.  With hinged jaws and slits for the eyes, this piece can be worn by someone with a smaller size head and features a fixed bamboo basket under the hair.
