Handheld drum, Painted Damaru

The Damaru is known as a power drum and when played, tends to bring spiritual energy.  It is played one handed with a twisting wrist motion and produces a vibrant sound as the bead strikers beat on the drumhead.  Handcrafted by local artisans and enhanced by a traditional dot painted design, it features two goatskin drumheads.  Popular with kids and adults alike, it is sure to be a favorite.
