Primitive Meditation

Hancarved by manual tools from Albesia wood, this Asmat state portrays a man pondering over life.  Cut off from the world until recent years, the Asmat tribe lives in rainforests off the coast of Papau, Indonesia.  The Asmat people use various forms of sculptures and art to promote their culture and tradition.  Truly a conversation piece, it is perfect for any art lover.
