Primitive Wood Figures, Asmat Style II (pair)

Two handcarved statues depicting an Asmat couple sporting jute outfits are portrayed here.  The Asmat tribe live along the remote southeast coast of Indonesia and are famed for their artistic "primitive" woodcarvings.  Modern civilization didn't reach this area until recently.  These artistic sculptures will be great accent pieces for any decor and are a must for any art lover.
